Walking in the Mountains for Fun and Fitness

A group of us from the office have decided on a new weekend escape to keep fit and active. We have taken to scouring maps of the region and doing some serious hiking and mountain climbing. The scenery around here is fantastic, and it seems silly to spend your life indoors when we have such beautiful natural areas all around us. I was inspired to start this when I was waiting at the doctors a few months ago and began to flick through a book of landscape photography which was on the table. I’m happy to see that people seem to be more interested in meditation, but what I don’t like is the fact that people are interested to meditate but they really don’t make time to learn how to meditate.

I write this article now because I have a friend who tried to meditate for several times but he didn’t searched enough to have the necessary documentation about how to meditate properly.. and this affects him. He usually tried to meditate in bed, before falling asleep. He tried once, he failed, he fell asleep, he tried another night, he almost succeeded, but the problem is that he was entering in a state of war, he started to have negative thoughts and bad vibrations. He entered in a conscious dream but he couldn’t wake up and when he finally woke up, his entire chest vibrated. It was a terrible moment for him. He simply has the wish to meditate but he doesn’t know how to meditate. He tried the next night and the result was the same, his chest was vibrating, he was feeling bad.. and what is worst is that he is stuck with a headache that still hurts him, after two weeks from the event.

Maybe now you all ask yourself, why did he had these bad responses from meditation. The answer is clear, he tried to meditate, but he didn’t know on which thought to concentrate and he, maybe involuntary, concentrated on bad thoughts, and these bad thoughts attracted other bad thoughts so he was entering in a negative state of meditation.

First One out of My Seat!

Shakeology is the best meal replacement shake I have ever tried! It is really tasty and totally fills me up. Once I have taken my shake, I am not hungry for hours. I love the chocolate shake the best, but I mix it up a bit by having the greenberry one every now and again. I make them both with crushed ice so it actually makes a pretty darn good milkshake. Besides tasting good, I also love that its packed with great nutrients. I noticed an increase in my energy level throughout the day as soon as I started taking it. I used to be sluggish following my workouts, now I am more willing to do other things that are more active. For instance, I never wanted to go for a walk at lunch with my co-workers. Why Are My Sneakers Wearing out So Unevenly?

I have three pairs and sneakers and two of them are wearing out very unevenly. They are wearing out much faster towards the inside of my foot than the outside.

Does that make me a pronator or an over pronator or possibly something else?

My walking shoes that I wear for my daily walk look the worst. I walk three miles a day every morning and I always wear these shoes.

My cross trainers look pretty bad too. They are my daily beat around shoe. I wear them to places like the grocery store and around town.

My zumba shoes are not worn out at all. I only wear those for about four hours or so a week though. So I am not very surprised. I have lots more hours in my other shoes so it is no surprise.
