From the production house of Walt Disney Pictures comes The Muppets, a family comedy directed by James Bobin. As a comedy fanatic, I do enjoy movie reviews directed towards comedy. In an attempt to stage a telethon and raise the $10 million needed to save the theater, a reunion of the Muppets is made by Walter, Mary and Gary. At the time of trying to effect the reunion, all Muppets are plying separate ways: while Fozzie now performs with a Reno casino tribute band, Miss Piggy works as a plus-size fashion editor, Animal works in a Santa Barbara clinic, and Gonzo is a high-powered plumbing magnate. It is expected that Disney’s The Muppets will hit the big screen come Nov. 23, 2011.
